why do i have to provide a tax i.d. number [ s.s.i. # ] if i do not even come close to meeting the government requirerments ?? i like most people am very cautious about putting my social security number on line. i will never meet the 20,000.00 requirerment so why do you need my s.s.i. number ?????? thanx

I certainly understand where you are coming from when you say you are very cautious about putting your SSN number online. Check out this post I made just last week in regards to why you have to provide your SSN. However, if you are not close to the threshold there is no need to provide your SSN.
