Hello browtine,
Welcome to the Forums.
When using Website Payments Standard you do have to create individual buttons in the button factory in your PayPal account. Depending if you want to charge a different amount for each item you are selling or if you want to charge a separate amount of shipping for total order amount, weight or quantity would depend on how you can set up shipping. If you would like to charge a different amount for each item then yes, you can set up the shipping per a button. If you would like to charge a separate amount of shipping for total order amount, weight or quantity then you can set your shipping amounts up in shipping calculations in the profile of your account. Let me know if you have any further questions.
