Hi,
I'm setting up a PayPal button on our website so that users can set up a subscription payment plan. Everything works and I can successfully receive money. However, I need to pass a runtime variable from my page to PayPal and have it recorded against the transation. Specifically, it's my reference for the customer.
I have tried adding a text field (e.g. on1 and os1) but that doesn't get recorded anywhere. I have also tried creating a custom field, but with the same outcome i.e.
<input type="text" class="inp" name="custom" maxlength="20" placeholder="My ref">
Can anyone tell me how to enable this persistence of data please?
Many thanks,
Chris
