Need to send email to buyer

I'm going to use the buy it now button on my site.  After the user pays I would like them to recieve an email message with instructions on how to continue as well as a password (that's why I don't want them to be directed to an html page)

Is there a way to do something like this?

You will need programming skills, and a proper web server that can execute dynamic code, not a free website from a consumer ISP.

PS... If you are trying to implement micropayments for downloads, it might be simpler to use an Electronic Softwware Distribution service.  There must be quite a few of these: http://www.payloadz.com is one example.  Payloadz can use PayPal for the payments side.   Hope this helps...
