Is PayPal for Digital Goods (Adaptive Payments) all or nothing proposition?

I just learned about a new PayPal feature called PayPal for Digital Goods (Adaptive Payments).
I was offered to switch to this service which seems to be the right thing to do, except that our website is not setup yet to accept PayPal Express (which I believe is a requirement for this service to work).
On the other hand, our Android app is totally ready for this.
My question is: Can I "opt in" to this new Digital Goods service (for the Android in-app payments), while our website still uses the ordinary PayPal IPN?

Hello scatpp,
You have some excellent questions! You are right you do either have to set-up Express Checkout or Adaptive payments for this service to work.
in regards to your question, "My question is: Can I "opt in" to this new Digital Goods service (for the Android in-app payments), while our website still uses the ordinary PayPal IPN?" - you can hop on over to the PayPal Developer Forum to see if this would be possible or not. I hope that helps.
