Help Question on Shopping cart coupon codes

I have a etsy shop and a online web site through visit print. When a customer does a purchase from etsy they are able to use a discount code that I can supply to them but when I give the code for someone to use off my web site and the shopping cart is through paypal it does not have a spot to use the coupon code, can anyone help with this.
