Email notice sent to a central recipient address

OK then there is a different problem I'm facing that simply requires an email notice sent to a central recipient address when a pay button is pressed. To do this now requires the address be placed as the Primary email of the account.

The problem with that is when the customer fills out the form and clicks PAY, the two sided Payment page pops up and the right side, which has the use Paypal to Pay option unimaginatively fills out the user Paypal account user address with the default primary address of the account requesting payment. To me that's a breach of privacy and vulnerable to abuse.

There needs to be some way, other than using IPN scripts and a back end, to send payment notifications to the seller, and which won't also show up on a default payment form seen by the world.

Hello vvpoa_admin,

Welcome to the Forums.

When a customer clicks on a PayPal button on your website it will pre-fill the email address associated with that particular customers PayPal account. If you are testing it from your own computer it will pre-fill your own email address associated with your PayPal account. The customer will not see your email address unless it is set up in your PayPal account that way when the customer is checking out.

After a customer makes a payment PayPal will send you what is called an email notification which works just like an instant payment notification with no back end work.

I hope this helps.
