I have a customer who would not buy from my site because 'there was not a secure connection'. Does anyone know what he is talking about? Actually I've had a couple of customers mention this.

Hello dshaw340,
Welcome the Forums.
If you are using a third party shopping cart and you are not using what is called an SSL certificate which is a Secure Sockets Layer commonly-used protocol for managing the security of a message transmission on the Internet. An SSL certificate would protect your customers information when placing an order. You can purchase the certificate through your hosting provider. I hope this makes sense.
