Changing company ownership and changes to PayPal Web Payments Pro

Hi,

Having PayPal WebPayments Pro as a merchant account we need to move our business to a new company. This will involve changes in the Business Name and the person associated with the account.

Do we need to set up a new PayPal WebPayments Pro and to transfer the recurring profiles from the old one or we can just update the name of the business with the new EIN and the new account holder personal info?

The info below may work with Pro for the Business Name change however, you will have to contact Customer Service to get the account owner name changed.

Change Business Name:

Login to your Account.
Click on the "Profile" link.
Under "Account Information"
Click on "Business Information"
Across from the "Business Contact Name"
Click on "Change Name".
Next, select the radio button for "Business Name Change"
Click "Continue".
Enter the new name in the input box.
Click "Continue".
Then save.

dont work only lets you change your name not companies name. doesnt seem to be any way short of closing acct.
