Change payment notification email for a certain product?

I have products available for sale on my website using payments standard. Normally when a customer makes a purchase, I get a notification to my email address that is on my profile. Can I change this so that if a specific product gets sold, the notification goes to a certain email address (instead of just the main one that is in my profile)?

Hello mickapoo,

There is a service called Instant Payment Notification a.k.a. IPN that I think would work great for you - this will allow notifications to go to an email address of your choice to make it easier for you. You can check out more information here.

This is how it works - The IPN is sent from the PayPal server to the merchant's server (IPN Listener) and then from there the merchant can redirect the information wherever they want it to go (accounting, shipping, etc.).
