Can I use "Item Id" to create product specific mailing lists?

Trying to develop a database of buyers that is product specific. Would love to target buyers with email promotion based on their previous purchases. This is a very specific task. Would I use the "item ID" to do this? Suggestions

Welcome to the Forums.

If I am understanding you correctly, the item id does not have anything to do with the buyers email address so I am not sure how this would work. You can match up the item id and the email address to create the database. I hope this helps.
