Can I create a "Generic" Buy Now button?

Hello -

    Is there a way for my website to calculate the amount and send that amount to Paypal for payment processing.  Bascailly I would like to have the user select or deselect various items and then send that total amount to Paypal for processing.

Thoughts?

Hello Jdivit001 and welcome to the Community . 

You can do this using Website Payments Standard buttons. The standard buttons allow the buyer to select from two separate menus, the first drop down menu the buyer can select an option with a price with the second drop down menu offering an additional option. When your buyer adds items to the cart they will be given an option to continue shopping or check out. When the buyer checks out with the PayPal shopping cart they will be sent to a PayPal hosted page. The shopping cart will calculate the total and give the buyer the option to check out with PayPal or pay using a credit card.
