Buy Now button email option not appearing

When I create a buy now button, I only see the tab for "Website" with the html code for the button and not the tab for "Email". How do I fix this??

Me too.  I was told today that our web-based Buy Now button will not work on an email , such as the kind sent out by Constant Contact.  We submit the content as HTML, including the Buy Now button code.  But our vendor said that the button does not work and we need the email type of button.     I didn't know there was such a thing, but we apparently need it.

There are certain restrictions that must be satisfied before the 'Email' tab shows up.

 

1. You must have a Premier or Business account. If you don't have this yet: https://www.paypal.com/upgrade
(Note: Premier / Business accounts are completely free.)

 

2. You cannot use 'options'. Also called 'dropdowns'.
(Since  a link can't display dropdown menu's, you cannot use this functionality with the 'email link'.)

 

3. You must tick the 'Host button with PayPal' option in Step 2 of the button creation tool. 

 

4. You must be logged in to your account while creating the button.
