what is the difference between personal paypal account and paypal express account?

I am currently using my personal Paypal account in my online store.

and I need to install an app that needs a PayPal Express account. How can I upgrade my personal account to express account? How?

And I need to sign in to Braintree app But I can't. I am from the philippines.

is my country not yet supported?
