recurring payment button nonprofit

I am trying to set up a recurring payment button for my non-profit.
Once I have my button created, the only option to set up recurring payments is by setting up a paypal account and not via Debit or credit card.
I get this message:
You’ll need a PayPal account for recurring donations

How do I fix this?

Hi @dkane,

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting. 

It is not possible for customers in all regions to send payments without having a PayPal account but you should be able to set up the option. You will find helpful information here https://developer.paypal.com/ and if you cannot find what you need you can open a ticket to our technical team on the same page.
