Virtual Terminal Error: Make sure the card type matches the card number and try again

I am trying to process a payment on the new Virtual Terminal - using the payment info from a long time customer (who's payment info always works) - and I am getting an error "Make sure the card type matches the card number and try again." I know this card is valid and current from an ongoing customer and it will not go through. When I enter the credit card info, it automatically selects VISA as the type of card - so there is no option to select card type.
