I am pairing my PayPal swipe, chip, tap card with rechargeable base to my PayPal Here app. I can not get the swipe portion or the tap function to recognize my credit cards that have chips. I have tried several of my new cards and none work. However, if you insert the card into the reader it works.
I thought I had a defective reader so PayPal shipped me a new one. I am still having the same problem. I am synching to my iPhone 7 with the most up to date operating system. I also just reloaded the PayPal Here app from Apple Store, so I have the most up to date version.
Any ideas what is going on?
