As a business user, we are looking for advice on how to use PayPal as our payment method to allow users to subscribe to our competition we've just launched.
As cash prizes are involved we are ensuring all boxes are ticked and all is above board. We just need support in setting this up as there will be a subscription element.
Users would come direct to our website and pay £1 for a 14-day trial and thereafter a rolling contract would occur at a cost of £4.95.
Details we would need from customers:
Credit/Debit Card Number
Expiry Date
3-Digit Security Number:
Here are the trial terms:
Trial Terms You agree that £1 will be debited from the registered credit/debit card for your 14-day trial. Your trial will be dispatched within 7 days of receipt.
There is no commitment, no tie-in and therefore no worries. You may change or cancel your membership at any time. Your membership will automatically renew after your 14 day trial at the usual price of just £4.95 per week (billed in 4 week increments every 28 days). If you cancel within your trial period you will not be charged for any further games; if you cancel after your trial period, we will simply cancel your membership but you may still incur charges.
Thank you for your advice.
