Status of PPP 2021

I have the screen that says "If you are seeing this message, your application is in one of three sequential steps within the underwriting stage."

Has anyone progressed past this?  How long did it take? I have been stuck here for over a week. Any info would help.

I'm in the same boat.

 

I applied the morning of January 19th and completed everything except for the Payroll Calculation Data because of a website problem. Basically, the submit button didn't work. My recollection was that the website finally began working later that afternoon, which allowed me to the process my remaining info. I didn't hear anything for a few days so I spent an hour on the phone holding for Customer Service last Thursday, who confirmed that they had all of my info and would contact me if they needed anything else.

 

Still, this process seems a lot slower than PPP 1.0, so I hope the system glitches didn't mess up my application. I'll update this thread as soon as I know more.

I'm seeing the same thing -- Applied on 1/19, and didn't have any technical issues so I must have done it after they fixed whatever was going on.

 

Would be nice if they would tell you which of the three steps you're in, or if there's any progress so we wouldn't have to wonder and commiserate in the forums.

I just spoke with a PPP 1.0 Loan Forgiveness Specialist who is helping me complete my forgiveness application and I asked her about the status of the PPP 2.0 loans. She confirmed that the PayPal PPP 2.0 staff is completely swamped and are working hard to get everyone's applications processed as quickly as possible.

 

I for one am perfectly willing to wait as long as it takes. I just hope that I don't get left out in the cold like so many others who applied for PPP 1.0 but were denied because of lack of funds. That said, I really feel badly for America's small restaurants, bars, and taverns, so I hope they get the help they need.

I think they are probably doing the restaurants and bars first and that’s why it may take a little longer this time for those of us who aren’t in that industry. Thank you for posting an update.

I received an email last night confirming they have my application. It also says there will be another update in 3 days.

Beware of spoof emails that look like they are from DocuSign. I received an email this morning seemingly from DocuSign for the PPP loan 2021. It looked almost identical to the original from PPP loan 2020. Difference was it was sent to an email address I have never used for anything related to the PPP and also it wasn’t from a person it was from DocuSign AT DocuSign. Pay attention people. Don’t click anything before verifying it is authentic. @Poolman @RavenManiac
