I used my Paypal Here device to charge a this customer's card present AMEX for services completed a total of $1550 + 20% tip $310 = $1860 total. I only see in my paid paypal account completed for $700. Why? Where the $1160 difference? Its not mentioned at all. Is it held in reserves? Why is there no customer service rep to assist in this incomplete transaction that I watched go through.

Hello @skeetrap,

Welcome to our Community Forums! It sounds like your recent PayPal Here transaction may be experiencing some reserves. Here's a Help Center article on PayPal Here™ Reserves you may find useful.

My apologies for any inconvenience this causes,

Seems there was a technical "glitch" in the PayPal Here Android app. I created a sale from multiple inventory items before the service and when ready to charge the customer I had to login again. The final sale although it looked right in the total amount $1860, once processed only settled for $700. Had to embarrassingly confirm the problem with my customer a week later. Awful NO CUSTOMER SERVICE from PayPal?! How are we supposed to do business like this with no assistance?

@skeetrap,

That definitely sounds like a frustration situation, I'm sorry to hear about that experience. If you run into that issue in the future, you can reach Customer Support by clicking Contact and then Message Us at the bottom of the PayPal website. They're also available through Twitter direct message or Facebook instant message.

Best wishes!
