Payment sent but not reflected in my account

Buyer send payment of 330 thru PayPal and I received a confirmation email But upon checking my PayPal acct it doesn’t reflects his payment. There’s also a red note in the email saying that I have to reply and send the tracking no. Of the shipment to PayPal. Is this true? But I read in PayPal that they will not ask for aN email of the tracking no. is my buyer a scammer? Help me please because it’s amounting to $330 And requesting to buy an eBay GC to be sent with the package for its a gift to her sister. I told him that but he said that PayPal is just protecting the buyer and the seller
