I recently set up a Shopify store and activated PayPal Express Checkout. I've read that there is no integration for adding a PayPal Credit button to the cart page of Shopify but I have added the PayPal Credit promo banner to my footer and to each product page. I want to make sure I understand the flow and if the PayPal Express Checkout will allow for PayPal Credit payments.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I assume a customer would:
- Click the PayPal Credit banner and apply to use the service.
- Return to the site
- Choose PayPal Express Checkout at the cart
- Log into their PayPal account
- PayPal Express Checkout sees that they were approved for PayPal Credit and the user selects to pay with that method
Is this how it works and if not, what do I need to do to give customers the option to use PayPal Credit?
