Been trying to setup a POS woth my PayPal here on a tablet, the star Ethernet printer and cash drawer. I’ve tried using a Ethernet router to connect the tablet to the printer. We do not have internet at the concession stand. I use my cellular data to process transactions. I can get everything to connect and test print and open cash drawer. When I try to process payment, it won’t work. The tablet wants to use WiFi and not cellular (even with WiFi assist on) and since there is no internet connected to the wifi it just tries for a minute or ten and then nothing. Any other ways to connect a printer and cash drawer and still use cellular data?
