We haven’t used our PayPal Card Reader for three months - since the start of lockdown (23 March 2020), apart from a recommended update to allow for contactless payments up to £45.00 a few weeks into Lockdown.
We started to use our Card Reader again last weekend (June 26 - 28) and found it wouldn’t accept customer payments over £30.00 / it will accept payments for anything up to this amount (contact - or contactless) … and accept multiple payments of £30.00 for items over that amount. The Reader appears to accept the payment – but the tablet declines the payment. Curiously the Card Reader will accept all our personal Credit and Debit cards (tried four cards) for any amount.
Has anyone else experienced this problem ... and does anyone know how to resolve this problem?
