Im having issues with my internet store's checkout using paypal express checkout. It should ask the customers whether they want to pay using paypal or credit card but instead it asks to log in or create an account. I'm using a shopify internet store platform and their customer support was of no help.
Also my paypal account optional setting is set to "on".
Please help me out, it's really hurting my business.
I have the same issue and honestly considering closing my store. Paypal IS my only pay gateway option and my customers have to register an account with Paypal before they can pay and check out. My customer cannot checkout as guest only ,pay with a credit card and have an effortless checkout experience. Customers buy on impulse and don’t the effort to register and account first before checkout - sigh.....
Yes, all my settings are correct in order to have the account as optional and yes shopify is ticked to allow guests to checkout as a guest only.
