I am an amateur programmer and game developer working on my first game.
Currently, my game is set to accept donations via a link to my paypal.me account.
I have learned the basic code with Node.js to set up a server for my game in an effort to move the game from completely front end to a backend setup.
I would eventually like to set up a game store but I am not ready for that yet.
Right now I am using Node.express.sockets
For now, I would like to set up something so that when someone makes a donation it will then tell my server a donation has been made and how much.
So that the server can then tell the players how much money has been donated to help cover game costs.
Costs being a server, for now, and soon to include database storage.
Are there Paypal API tools to facilitate this desire?
