I want to setup recurring payments alongside IPN but I have a question...
The IPN file (that updates my system) I have on my server is specified as the notify_url parameter when I call https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr. i.e. I am not using the global IPN file specified in my PayPal account. I do this because I have multiple domains where I take PayPal payment so I require an individual IPN file for each domain.
When an automated repeat payment is taken (i.e. the payments taken each month after the initial payment), does the IPN file specified in my notify_url get called by PayPal or will PayPal call the global IPN file specified in my account?
I need the IPN file called for each recurring payment in order to create an invoice and update a licence record in my own system.
So, in summary:
Will the notify_url specified IPN file or will the global IPN file specified in my PayPal account be called by PayPal for each recurring payment?
