How do you a product id to the PayPal checkout button?

I've looked at the button doc: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/archive/checkout/how-to/customize-button/

And I don't see a way to add a product id to the flow. Otherwise it's not possible to tell what product a charge is for.

Is there a way to make that happen?

thanks

PayPal took down their old button documentation since they have these smart buttons but...

Go to your list of saved buttons if you already created your button already, and Look on page 9 of this: https://www.paypalobjects.com/webstatic/mktg/docs/buy_now_button_guide_112012.pdf

Otherwise, go to PayPal buttons in Tools menu and click "Buy Now". It should display the button form as you see on page 9 in the above pdf.

The Item ID is where you put the Product Number.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
