Hi I had some gift cards that my daughter received that she won't use. they were fully loaded with the balance expected. We decided to sell on ebay. I have been scammed by a buyer who did not file a dispute through ebay but to go directly through paypal and say that it was unauthorized. Despite showing the transaction in ebay along with email communication from the buyer, paypal made a sweeping decision that the charge was unauthorized, on the basis that gift cards are not covered under seller protection. I can see from the gift card transaction that the balance was used after it was in the buyers hands and despite showing that - it's still unauthorized as far as paypal is concerned. The resolution center sucks for such problems. Anyone else had a similar problem. I'm thinking that there is a growing scam here. Thanks for any feedback.
