We are running a translation business service and we regularly need to pay to the freelance translators from around the world. Our entire business is operating on the payments from and to the global level. What I want to know is (a) is perfectly legal to send payments to the freelancers abroad according to RBI guidelines? (b) If yes is there any limit in terms of the amount of a particular payment, or total annual outward remittance? Is there any additional tax or charges that need to be added.
