I wish to setup a donate button on my website, my website is http. I found this code:-

I have found a 13 character merchant ID in my paypal settings. I added this to my website, and paypal said the seller me was a problem.
According to this youtube video <removed> I need to update to a business account and that is supposed to be easy.
In my settings there is a link "upgrade to a business account", when I click this link it sends me to my paypal summary which has zero balance.
I have had a paypal account for 10 years, can't remember when I last used it, but the settings are all current.
The behemoth of a website sends me round and round in circles, can anyone in the communnity help me?
