Customizing the Checkout page when creating a PayPal button

Folks,

I want to create a PayPal button for my website that contains a text box for messages on the checkout page - because my product can be bought as a gift, and the option to write a message would be helpful.

I haven't seen any way to do this. Any suggestions? Is this possible/not?

Choose a button type appropriate for your use and then follow the steps which should include a bit about adding a text field:
