Credit Cards no longer accepted as payment option?

So Paypal Here and the Card Reader will be no longer from the 29th June 2021.

Paypal suggests using QR Code.

Problem is, what if my client does not have Paypal, and does not want Paypal?

Is it discontinued in the US? or only Australia? I can find info online about it being discontinued in Australia (as of April?), but nothing about the US.
