Considering Paypal as payment point for clients

I have a small tutoring service and considering asking clients to pay via Paypal. They currently pay by bank transfer but researching:

1. benefits and non-benefits.

2. What information/notice are clients given to disclose the costs and benefits to them.

3. What fees are paid by client vs those paid by myself?

Notes & considerations:

a. I have three types of fees:

i. testing

ii. resources- These are prorated according to the month that the student begins

iii. tutoring schedule - At least once a week but could be many times a week.

b. Tuition stops at different times during the year.

i. Christmas week

ii. Holidays that the student takes

iii. Holidays that the tutor takes

c. The student is ill

Hi @Kraal,

Thank you for your post! I'll answer to the best of my ability.

To see some of the benefits of using PayPal to process your transactions, please take a look here.

A buyer will not be charged a fee to send a payment for Goods or Services. All fees are paid by the receiver of a Goods and Services payment. To learn more, click Fees at the bottom of the PayPal website.

I hope this helps!

Olivia
