I have two readers now that have worked fine until suddenly a declined payment sends them off the deep end, and they enter the Rainbow of Death. When you turn it on, it beeps about every five seconds and flashes all red, green, blue, yellow, LEDS as shown until battery shut off. Turn it on again, the Rainbow continues. No bluetooth connectivity, so nothing can be done from the app. Are these recoverable at all? PayPal may replace them if I can successfully navigate their customer service robots, but it seems like it *should* be a recoverable error.
