Card machine, pay here, eligability

I bought acard machine for my small business for £59.. I received it, set it up and downloaded the adhere app only to be told in not eligible for this type of account? Firstly, why was I allowed to buy it and not tested firstly ? Secondly.. Why am I not eligible, I'm having money paid into my account, and not got any bad feedback on my account? I also haven't asked for credit ?

4. Get paid
