The Donate button has a a prompt "This button is intended for fundraising. If you are not raising money for a cause, please choose another option."
And I am not a non-profit organisation, so I am not sure if I am fit to this category of "raising money for a cause".
I am just a developer who wants to add an option in my website to let anyone that wishes, to send money to my account.
Currently I see that I can have a "Buy Me" button, and remove the shipping option, and let users choose any amount they want to pay. I can also add a description informing that I am not selling an actual product.
Does PayPal allow that? To add a Buy Me button without selling an actual product? Or that might cause trouble for me? Or, can I use the Donate button even though it says "This button is intended for fundraising. If you are not raising money for a cause, please choose another option."?
