possible scam?

I received the following text message from phone[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]/p>

Hello (my name) New Incoming payment transfer on hold. ID-04971021. We need to approve the incoming payment transfer. Go to:

PayPal virtual says it is not legit and that I should delete it. Has anyone else gotten something like this?

I got this same message today, but when you click the link it takes you to a website "<removed>". doesn't seem legit at all.
