I sold something on eBay. I transferred the money out and the buyer asked for a return with an issue to the item. We set up a partial refund .It said an error I went to PayPal and they said resolve the amount for the original purchase amount. I’m trying to add money pay the partial refund and don’t know how
You can only issue a refund via cleared funds in your paypal balance or via a bank account.
However sometimes the quickest and easiest way is to get a mate or family member to send you a payment to your paypal via the friends / family option (as long as they don't fund it with a card there is no fee).
