I am selling a car and a potential buyer wants to send me a small deposit to hold the car for him as he is waiting until he gets his tax return to purchase the car. Is there a way that I can guarantee that even if I do sell the car, he wont be able to dispute the deposit in the future and leave me out a few hundred dollars?

Hi @dboyce12,
Thank you for your post! Any payment can be disputed. I would recommend reviewing the Seller Protection guidelines to fully understand the limitations so you can assess your risk and decide whether or not to proceed.
I hope this helps!
