So I sold something on eBay wasn’t a physical item it was an item in a game.. either way I sold it for a lot and a month later I see My PayPal balance is -£492... and they’ve said it was an unauthorised payment... I’m confused because if it was unauthorised that’s bad but still doesn’t make sense why I’ve had £492 taken from me as I still sold the item and that item has gone.. like I said the item was an in game item so no tracking but what I do have is a chat logg with me and the user on eBay he says he got the item... is this enough cover? Like for sellers protection or have I well and truly been scammed 😞 please help! I have the whole chat of the transaction in screenshots and his eBay name being linked to the payment address as the eBay name is different to PayPal name but it all links up...
