Open dispute can I still receive money?

Hi I sold an item on depop and accidentally wrote wrong size buyer opened a dispute on paypal I agreed to refund but I’d already spent the money, I waited to refund her as I had money pending on another item I’d sold and thought I would use that money to refund her it’s now been pending for over a week, can I not receive money with an open dispute? Thanks

As you have had a dispute then paypal freeze any funds in your balance and again apply a hold.
