I am a new seller with PayPal, and I deal in electronic services - specifically editing and proofreading documents. Each time I have been paid, the fee has been put "on hold", until I can prove that the "item" has been received. Apparently you have to build up a history of satisfactory transactions before you receive fees straight away.
This has been going on since August now with about £300 worth of transactions and no complaints from the buyers.
Does anyone have experience of how many transactions it typically takes before you are "trusted" to be given your money straight away?
