I need help please

Im new to selling and using PayPal but I sold my iPad and the person said the money will be on hold until they receive it so I had to send a tracking number and receipt to a PayPal confirmation email which came through so I send these things and I get an email back saying PayPal have received the receipt and tracker.. the iPad is then sent and when it arrives there is no money gone into my account as the person said there would be on receiving of the parcel. Then I’m sent an email saying I need pay money! 400 pound saying my account is wrong.. really frustrated amd do not know what to do
