Fake or not?

Hi
I received the following email below for selling a stuff. I just got two emails from (pay-paltrackingverfication) asking me to post the item and provide the tracking number in order to release the payment. When I log in to my PayPal account I find nothing in my balance. So are these two emails spams or not?

Hi salim_alwasity and welcome.

From reading your message and looking at the email address you received these emails from I would say that are not genuine emails. When a payment is held for any reason on your PayPal account you will still see the payment on your account with the status "held" or "pending". I really hope that this response is not too late and that you have not yet sent the item. If you have not sent the item please do not send it as this does not sound genuine. If you still have them, please forward them to spoof@paypal.com so they can be reviewed by our specialist team.

Thanks for posting,

Paula
