Dispute cancelled by buyer, process still going on?

Hi,

 

I had a problem with a buyer which got resolved. The buyer opened a dispute and later cancelled  it. The dispute of 900$ however it is still going on and my funds are still on hold.

In the case history I can see that the buyer cancelled the dispute.

May I ask if what type of dispute was filed against you? Canceling a PayPal dispute is fast and it will release the funds right away to your account. However, if it is a chargeback case wherein your buyer's card issuer files the dispute, it could take a longer process for the funds to be released because it's the Buyer's Card issuer who will close and release the funds. If this is a chargeback claim by a financial institution, you will have to reach the Buyer and let them know and they need to communicate with their Financial Institution. Hope this helps!
