So, as the title states, my customer confirmed receipt..funds were released..and as soon as I went to use my PayPal debit card an immediate hold was placed on my account. I’m being told I randomly need to verify my identification? After uploading a copy of two identification cards I’m told I have to wait 5 business days for the process. I can literally show up in person faster than that, that’s ridiculous. Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t use my account often and this is my first time using my debit card. I’ve already been scammed out of $100+ from PayPal recently with a shady customer, but after chalking that up as a loss I’m starting to wonder if it’s actually PayPal who is shady? I don’t feel “protected” by this as much as I feel like it’s unnecessary calculated chaos. Any help is greatly appreciated.
