I sold an item on depop last September, I clearly stated I was unsure of its authenticity. The buyer has now opened a dispute claiming it’s an awful fake. I responded to the dispute claiming a stated I was unsure if it was authentic and the price clearly reflected this. I went on depop and saw that this is not the first time they have done this
The buyer hasn’t responded to the case they have just escalated it and now PayPal are reviewing it
Has anyone else has this happen and will PayPal go in there favour? I find it awful that they are allowed to do this and don’t see how it’s fair that they can make a claim after 6 months claiming the item is not as described
I have tried to contact PayPal but with no response so don’t know what to do
