Recently made a sale via ebay only to be contacted by the buyer informing me that the item was missing from the item package (stolen). Even though the package was signed for he said that the packaging was ripped and had been opened. As I can't prove otherwise I refunded him as to avoid negative feedback etc but I was wondering if I'm protected in any way? The item was sent within the correct timescale to a paypal authorized address and signed for. I have proof of this via the courier service who are also conducting they're own investigation. As things stand I'm down on both counts. Any advice welcome
