Why am I being harassed by pay-pal for selling an item I never received payment for? I sold an item to buyer . Buyer tells me she isn't able to send it herself she in marines. So she asks if she send 400 dollars and put it on an e-bay gift card and ship gift card and phone to stated address and that she will include extra 100 for me for taking on said transaction , I said alright cool and I restated what she said back to her she stated back correct. The woman sends cash to pay pal , pay-pal sends me a letter stating once I purchase e-bay card and show them proof I would receive cash she supposedly gave pay-pal for me. Then she opens a case on me and pay-pal e-bay sent it to me stating I will be sued or whatever if I didn't buy card. How am I suppose to buy card without the cash ? I am not, so I am keeping my phone and she can keep her cash.
